Mike L. ~ Don't wait any longer to get started at this school. I originally thought I was too old but I've learned that I should have started real lessons years ago. All of the videos and books won't get you playing any faster than face to face instruction. My instructor encourages me to excel. Band has given me a rare opportunity to play with others and experience the pressure of performing in front of others. I wish the school would have been around when I was just starting. Better than that, they are great musicians themselves. Playing in the student band really gives you the opportunity to put your new talent to use. As a student of Tim's who had NO guitar experience when I started classes I was a bit tenative. Tim is a very generous and capable teacher. It has been my experience that often those who possess mastery of a skill or a knowledge set have difficulty teaching novices. This is not the case with Tim. Tim is extremely patient with me. I really like that he uses one's interests and objectives to determine a students pace and curriculum. --If one is looking for a guitar teacher -- Tim is the man for the job. --ydd
